Join Inlet Yoga for a soul-nourishing 7-night retreat on the serene island of Amorgos, Greece, where crystal-blue waters, intelligent movement, and mindful living come together for a truly transformational experience. June 19–26, 2027
Led by Jennifer Vafakos, Founder & Lead Teacher of Inlet Yoga
This retreat was intentionally designed to help you step away from the noise of everyday life and return home feeling grounded, clear, and deeply restored. Here, yoga is not about performance — it’s about presence, connection, and coming back to yourself in one of the most breathtaking places on earth.
Daily practices are thoughtfully crafted to support strength, mobility, breath awareness, and nervous system balance. Jennifer’s teaching blends intelligent sequencing, breathwork, and classical yoga philosophy — offering depth without overwhelm and challenge without pressure.
Amorgos is a place where time slows down. Ancient footpaths wind through mountain villages, whitewashed monasteries cling to cliffs above the sea, and everyday life still moves at a human pace.
You’ll experience Greece not as a tourist — but as a welcomed guest.

Each day of the retreat follows a natural, spacious rhythm — blending intelligent movement, cultural exploration, and time to rest. Nothing feels rushed. Nothing feels forced. You’re invited to participate fully, while always honoring your own energy and needs.
This is not about filling every hour — it’s about creating an experience that unfolds with ease.

This is not about filling every hour — it’s about creating an experience that unfolds with ease.
You may join guided hikes along ancient footpaths, explore traditional villages, participate in a hands-on Greek cooking class, or visit the breathtaking Monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa overlooking Agia Anna Beach.
Or, you may choose to slow down — spending time at the spa, by the pool, at the beach, or simply resting with a book and a view. This flexibility is intentional, allowing the retreat to meet you exactly where you are.
As the sun begins to set, evenings gently bring the day to a close. Restorative yoga, meditation, or gentle movement create space to integrate the day’s experiences and return to a state of calm.
There’s a sense of ease here — shared meals, quiet conversations, and moments of reflection that make the retreat feel both nourishing and deeply human.
Perched high above the turquoise waters of Aegiali Bay, Aegialis Hotel & Spa offers a rare blend of Cycladic charm, refined comfort, and soul-soothing serenity.
Elegant sea-view rooms, peaceful terraces, and the full-service Lalon Idor Spa create an environment that supports deep rest and renewal.
We’ve thoughtfully designed this retreat to be as seamless and supportive as possible, so you can focus on your practice, your experience, and yourself — not the logistics.

Amorgos is not a place you simply visit — it’s a place you experience slowly, intentionally, and with curiosity. Throughout the week, you’ll be invited to step beyond the mat and into the living history, culture, and natural beauty of this remarkable island.
These experiences are woven gently into the retreat, offering connection without overwhelm and discovery without rush.
Walk Ancient Paths Through Time
Follow winding stone trails that once connected villages across the island, passing Byzantine chapels, rugged cliffs, and panoramic sea views. Along the way, you’ll breathe in the scent of wild herbs — sage, oregano, and thyme — and experience Amorgos the way locals have for centuries: on foot, at a human pace.
This guided hike is as much about presence as it is about movement, offering a deep connection to the land and its history.
A Sacred Place, Suspended Between Sea and Sky
Clinging dramatically to a cliff 300 meters above the sea, the Monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa is one of Greece’s most iconic spiritual landmarks. The climb is steep, the views are breathtaking, and the experience is unforgettable.
After visiting the monastery, you’ll have the option to cool off at nearby Agia Anna Beach, where crystal-clear waters meet dramatic rock formations.
Taste the Heart of Greek Hospitality
Food is an expression of care and culture in Greece. During a hands-on cooking class, you’ll learn to prepare traditional Greek dishes using fresh, local ingredients — sharing stories, laughter, and a meal together in true Mediterranean style.
This experience offers a delicious window into everyday Greek life and the rhythms that shape it.
Wander Where History Lives
Built out of sight from the sea to protect its people from pirates, Chora is a timeless village filled with whitewashed alleys, blooming flowers, ancient windmills, and over 40 churches. You’ll wander at an easy pace, stopping for coffee, conversation, and moments of quiet awe.
Here, history feels alive — not preserved behind glass.
