The sum of a person’s actions in this and previous states of existence is viewed as deciding their fate in future existences. Our Karmi Yoga program exists to provide a mutual exchange of services to individuals who want to be more involved with our yoga community and studio. The benefit for those individuals selected is unlimited vigorous and gentle yoga, discounts on some workshops, training, and retail, in exchange for service around our studio. Through customer service, organization, and maintaining the Inlet environment so that it is clean and inviting.

Inlet Yoga’s Work Exchange Family

You will find our Karma Yoga Program is about more than just unlimited yoga, it is about connection, gratitude, and being part of a larger family. Inlet’s Karma Yoga program is an enormously valued part of our community.

Our program is for those who are passionate about yoga, our community and want to be a part of the Inlet Team on a more involved level. Each Karmi selected will assist in creating the studio environment and experience with every student. The Inlet Karmi family strives to cultivate a culture of learning, appreciation, and community through customer interaction.

Join Our Work Exchange Crew

Our Karmis are involved in various tasks including but not limited to: Front Desk duties, customer service, cleaning and preparing studios for class, and a variety of other administrative tasks as needed. We are looking for a few friendly yogis to join our karma crew.

To become a karmi, you must:

Have a committed practice of yoga preferably at Inlet.
Be able to commit to working at least 2 classes per week
Be responsible, communicative, trustworthy, and easy-going.

A Friendly and Welcoming Family

As the face of Inlet Yoga, it’s up to our karmis to make everyone feel welcome and to create a positive environment for others! We hope that the first time you arrived at our studio, you were greeted by a friendly and welcoming karmi who helped prepare you for your first class.

Karmis at Inlet Yoga are responsible for some light cleaning duties, working with our MindBody Online (MBO) system to check students into class and to resolve client issues or to pass along complete information for the owner to follow up on.
Karmis MUST be knowledgeable about our membership pricing and each month’s workshops.
The Karmi is also in charge of preparing the studio for class.
Karmis are asked to commit to working a minimum of two specific shifts each week with a three-month commitment.
